Tazyin- Ijaza Course in Tajweed
Course Overview
What is an Ijazah?
An Ijazah is a traditional “license” or certification that grants a student the authority to recite and teach the Holy Quran. The most unique feature of an Ijazah is the Sanad (Transmission chain of Narrators reaching the Prophet ﷺ). When you receive an Ijazah, you are given a document listing the names of teachers starting from your Ustad, going back through generations of scholars, all the way to the Sahaba and finally to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It is a testimony that your recitation matches the way the Quran was originally revealed.
This course focuses on the precise application of Tajweed rules, correct articulation (Makharij), and the rhythmic beauty of recitation as per the established styles (Qira’at Riwayas).
Duration: 1 Year (or until the completion of the full Quranic recitation/Qira’at to Ustad)
Certification: Official Ijazah Certificate with a connected Sanad upon successful completion.
